Project Synopsis
Lauer-Manguso & Associates Architects provided design services for this 31,000sf facility located on the New York State Thruway.
The two-story complex is connected to a parking ramp on both levels and provides access by means of a large, arched vehicular drop-off area.
This facility, designed to replace the aging rest stops in the thruway system, includes restaurants, snackbars and many auxiliary functions and has become the ideal for the travel plaza of the future.
