Niagara County Training Facility
Lauer-Manguso and Associates was retained to design a new 18,466 sq. ft. facility to include offices for the Fire Coordinator, Emergency Services Management Dept., Code Enforcement officials, classroom training areas and the central dispatch for the county’s emergency communications service. Police, fire emergency and rescue coordinators now have the ability to co-ordinate emergency response techniques together in the classroom.
Included within the building are also vehicle maintenance and storage bays for 8 emergency response vehicles that were previously stored at different locations throughout the county.
Site enhancements include a fire-training tower and heavy-duty asphalt paved area for practicing fire/emergency rescue techniques along with those involving vehicular accidents.
